One of the best available methods for hair removal today is the laser hair removal treatment. Some years ago, both men and women would consider the removal of unwanted hair as time-consuming, costly and inconvenient. Fortunately, modern technology has provided us with a safe, fast, and easy way to remove unwanted hair: by laser hair removal. The question persists however: how much does a laser hair removal cost?

Things To Consider Before Going Under the? Laser

Compared to electrolysis, laser hair removal is relatively cheaper. However, it will still involve some considerable portion of your savings. Mostly, laser hair removal cost will be based on the extent of your unwanted hair problems. Another thing to consider is your skin condition. Hair laser removal is not advisable for some people due to safety concerns people with hair darker than their skin can not be admitted for laser hair removal because their skin may have the tendency to take in more laser rays than what is normally considered as safe. A visit to your physician or dermatologist is therefore recommended before making an appointment at your local laser hair removal clinic. It?s better to be hairy but safe than hairless but sorry or burnt.

A Breakdown of the Laser Hair Removal Cost

Consultation Fee ? Some clinics charge clients for inquiries and consultation regarding the laser treatment. This is one area of laser hair removal cost that is regularly forgotten.

Skin Area Covered ? The area and parts of your body that you want to submit for laser hair removal would also be considered for the cost of the treatment. If the area or body part that you want covered for the hair removal treatment is larger than what the clinic usually offers like arms and thighs, you will, of course, have to be charged a higher price than the usual. However, the laser hair removal cost for areas of your face is usually reasonably priced and can, therefore be afforded by anyone. The most common body parts subjected to laser treatment usually include the upper lip, arms, underarms, the back and thighs.

Professional Fee ? Another laser hair removal cost to be taken into account is the professional fees that most clinics charge for the laser hair removal treatment. Professional fees charged by specialist doctors in the field of dermatology, high-end spas and hospitals are usually higher than your average skin clinic or beauty spa. Clinics that also specialize in laser hair removal or those that have already established a name for themselves in laser hair removal treatment may also have higher or more costly professional fees.

Number of Laser Sessions ? Laser hair removal treatments are different from other hair removal treatments in the sense that they require several subsequent visits to the skin clinic. Naturally, the more sessions you need, the more expensive the treatment would cost. Therefore, it is wise to consult the dermatologist and ask about the estimated number of sessions it would take to have successful laser hair removal, as well as determining how much does each session of laser hair removal cost?

Pattern of Hair Growth ? The finer the hair, the lesser the cost in the same manner as the thicker the area for hair removal, the higher the cost of the treatment. Also, the growth pattern of your hair such as how it grows as well as its density will also have an effect on the amount of your laser hair removal cost.

Package Discounts or Flat Fees ? If you happen upon a package or a promo at the clinic, you?ll be able to, more likely, save on the laser hair removal cost. If you are a regular client or a patron for some other service, the clinic may also possibly give you a discount on their laser hair removal treatment service.

After-Care Products ? It is possible that your dermatologist will give you a prescription for several hair removal after-care products for your treatment to have a more lasting effect. Usually, these after-care products are lotions, creams, and soaps and is yet another factor to be considered towards your laser hair removal cost.

Time ? There are some clinics that, to arrive at a certain laser hair removal treatment cost, use the time spent on each treatment as a basis for the total cost of treatment. This may prove to be disadvantageous for the client as they would have no idea as to whether the dermatologist is simply prolonging the process in order to extract more money from the client or not.

Pulse-Based Fees ? It is possible that the clinic will simply charge you based on the per-pulse rate. Some clinics may charge $50 for the first 100 pulses and then one dollar for each subsequent pulse. Again, be wary that a clinic is not going to subject you to too many pulses as a simple means to push up the laser hair removal cost.

Having a luxurious head of hair is associated with attractiveness, as evidenced by countless shampoo advertisements with women swinging their thick, shiny head of hair around while groaning ecstatically! That?s not to mention scores of advertisements for prescription medications, over-the-counter creams and hair transplant surgeries. Many would be willing to stand on their heads in a bowl full of green Jell-O for 15 minutes a day if they were told it would regrow their hair!

Most of us lose around 100 hairs a day - this is perfectly normal, as evidenced by your hairbrush! However, at least 50 percent of all adults will experience hair loss or thinning hair by age 60, and this affects approximately 40 million men and 20 million women. There are many types of hair loss:

Androgenetic alopecia, or pattern baldness. This is the most common type of hair loss. Male pattern baldness usually occurs in the front, crown and sides of the hairline. It?s not uncommon for male hair loss to begin in the 20?s. An androgen receptor gene on the X chromosome explains why a man?s baldness resembles that of his maternal grandfather more than his father. However, baldness can be inherited from the mother?s or father?s side of the family with equal frequency. Female thinning is most likely to occur on the crown and in the front. In both men and women, this type of hair loss is heredity and permanent.

The hormone dihydrotestosterone, or DHT, is also related to male pattern baldness. DHT binds with receptor sites on hair follicle cells to cause balding and decreases the length of the hair growing cycle so that each new regeneration of hair becomes smaller and thinner. That?s why you see so many advertisements for hair loss products extolling their virtues as DHT blockers, such as Propecia. DHT blockers also include natural supplements for thinning hair such as saw palmetto, nettles, pumpkin seed oil, green tea, emu oil, and soy isoflavones.

Telogen effluvium occurs in response to stress. This can be triggered by childbirth, major surgery, serious psychological stress, or serious illness such as high fever or severe flu. However, hair loss may not occur until three to six months following the stressful incident, so it?s difficult to connect the stress with the loss. Hair usually regrows within six to nine months.

Alopecia areata is temporary hair loss characterized by round patches of hair falling out of the scalp. This hereditary disease of the immune system can affect children or adults and is caused by white blood cells attacking the hair follicle.

Hair loss can also be affected by these other factors:

?	Side effects of medications or treatments, including medications to treat arthritis, depression, heart problems, high blood pressure and gout - plus chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

?	Symptoms of illness, such as diabetes, lupus or thyroid disorders.

?	Overuse of hair treatments and products such as hair dye, permanents, straighteners, hot rollers, curling irons and blow dryers. This is called traumatic alopecia.

?	Poor nutrition. This is especially true if you don?t get enough protein or iron in your diet.

Given all this, is vitamin E good for hair? Despite what all those exciting commercials say, current research shows that there is no absolute direct correlation between taking vitamin supplements and permanent hair regrowth. There?s a popular misconception that Vitamin E regrows hair. You can take all the Vitamin E supplements you want to, and even rub it on your head, but it won?t magically transform you into a Muppet in dire need of a haircut!

However, non-hereditary hair loss is an indicator of poor health. As a result, you should ensure that you?re eating a healthy diet and taking the right vitamins and minerals that help to prevent hair loss. Unexplained hair loss should be evaluated as a symptom of other health problems - if you experience this, check with your physician.

Although no particular vitamin or product will give you a head of hair like Cher?s in the 70?s, you should take minerals and vitamins that help prevent hair loss to complement your nutritious diet. Good nutrition is important to overall health and healthy hair growth. The following vitamins and minerals have been shown to help to prevent hair loss:

Vitamin A: This antioxidant produces healthy scalp sebum. Daily dose is 5,000 IU. Caution: Ingesting more than 25,000 IU of vitamin A daily is toxic - it can cause hair loss and other serious health problems. Food sources include fish liver oil, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, apricots and peaches.

Vitamin B 3, or Niacin: Promotes scalp circulation. Daily dose is 15 mg. Food sources include brewer's yeast, wheat germ and fish.

Vitamin B 5, or Pantothenic acid: Helps prevent graying and hair loss. Daily dose is 4 to 7 mg. Food sources include whole grain cereals, brewer's yeast and egg yolks.

Vitamin B 6: Helps prevents hair loss and assists in the production of melanin, which gives hair its color. Daily dose is 1.6 mg. Food sources include brewer's yeast, whole grain cereals, vegetables and egg yolks.

Vitamin B 12: Helps prevents hair loss. Daily dose is 2 mg. Food sources include fish and eggs.

Vitamin C: This antioxidant maintains healthy skin and hair. Daily dose is 60 mg. Food sources include citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, cantaloupe, pineapple, tomatoes, green peppers, potatoes and dark green veggies.

Vitamin E: Does vitamin E promote hair growth? Well, this antioxidant does encourage scalp circulation. Daily dose is up to 400 IU. Food sources include cold-pressed vegetable oils, wheat germ oil, soybeans, raw seeds and nuts, dried beans, and leafy green veggies.

Biotin: Helps produce keratin, which may prevent graying and hair loss. Daily dose is 150 to 300 mcg. Food sources include brewer's yeast, whole grains, egg yolks and rice.

Inositol: Keeps hair follicles healthy at the cellular level. Daily dose is up to 600 mg. Food sources include whole grains, brewer's yeast and citrus fruits.

Calcium: An essential mineral that boosts hair growth. Daily dose is up to 1,500 mg. Food sources include tofu, fish, nuts, brewer's yeast, beans, lentils and sesame seeds.

Chromium: Helps prevent hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, which can cause hair loss. Daily dose: Up to 120 mg. Food sources include brewer's yeast and whole wheat bread.

Copper: Helps prevent hair loss and defects in color or structure. Daily dose is up to 3 mg but more than that can lead to dry hair, hair loss and severe health problems. Food sources include shellfish, green vegetables, whole grains, eggs and beans.

Iodine: Prevents dry hair and hair loss. Daily dose is 150 mcg. Food sources include fish, seaweed, kelp, iodized salt and garlic.

Iron: Prevents hair loss. Daily dose is 15 mg. Food sources include eggs, fish, whole grains, green vegetables and dried fruits.

Magnesium: This is one of the vitamins to regrow hair it works in tandem with calcium to promote healthy hair growth. Daily dose is 280 mg. Food sources include green vegetables, wheat germ, whole grains, nuts, soy beans, chickpeas and fish.

Potassium: This is another one of the vitamins that make hair regrow potassium promotes healthy hair growth. Daily dose is 3,500 mg. Food sources include avocados, bananas, lima beans, brown rice, dates, figs, dried fruit, garlic, nuts, potatoes, raisins, yams and yogurt.

Selenium: Keeps scalp supple and elastic. Daily dose is 55 mcg, but more than that can cause hair loss. Food sources include brewer's yeast, grains, tuna and broccoli.

Silica: This natural supplement for thinning hair strengthens hair and prevents hair loss. Daily dose is 55 mcg, but excessive amounts can lead to hair loss. Food sources include seafood, rice, soybeans and green vegetables.

Sulfur: Sulfur is a main component in hair structure. Daily dose is 1 to 3 g. Food sources include onions, garlic, eggs, asparagus, fish and dairy products.

Zinc: Zinc works in tandem with vitamin A a deficiency in either can cause dry hair. Daily dose is 12 mg. Food sources include spinach, sunflower seeds, mushrooms, whole grains and brewer's yeast.

In addition to vitamins and minerals that boost hair growth, you should also include omega-3 fatty acids in your diet to prevent hair loss. Good sources include wild Alaskan salmon, sardines, herring, mackerel, flax seeds and walnuts.

Instead of trying to take each one of these vitamins and minerals separately each day, consider a complete multivitamin. A good one will provide all these nutrients in the sufficient, yet safe dosages. In addition, here are some helpful hair care tips:

?	Use all-natural biotin-based shampoo and conditioner to help your hair appear thicker.

?	Be easy with your hair brush it gently, starting from the bottom and working your way up. Don?t ever harshly tug downward on tangles.

?	Don?t blow dry your hair, use curling irons or hot rollers. Try some firm hair gel and a round styling brush instead style your hair, then let it air dry.

?	Don?t frequently put your hair in ponytail holders or barrettes, and never use rubber bands on your hair!

?	Shorter hairstyles make hair look thicker.

?	Avoid the Donald Trump comb over style at all costs!

To improve your hair?s health and the overall physical condition of your body, take the next step and improve dietary nutrition, take the right vitamin and mineral supplements, and minimize the stress in your life.

Many people suffer from hereditary loss of hair. For men, the abnormality is called Androgenetic Alopecia or ?male pattern baldness,? which is implicated in 95% of hair loss cases. This type of hair loss is caused by an increase in dihydrotestostrone (DHT), a direct component of testosterone. While this type of hair loss is inevitable, it can be slowed using hair loss treatment for man and other various treatments.

Since the cause of male pattern baldness is caused by a rise in DHT, the most effective hair loss treatment for man is the one with that focuses on blocking the build up of DHT in the body. One such medication for male hair loss is finasteride. Finasteride is a hair loss treatment for man that works by preventing certain enzymes from converting testosterone into DHT.

Minoxidil is one of the most popular hair loss treatment for man. It is widely regarded as effective in about 25% of men suffering from baldness on the crown. It is applied twice a day in cream form. However, it is effective only when it is continuously used.

Surgery is one other hair loss treatment for man. Although the surgical procedures have undergone significant improvements, the effects are not evident until after several months have passed since surgery. In hair transplants, very tiny plugs of hair are taken from the side or back of the scalp, which are then transplanted onto bald spots.

Scalp massage is a traditional hair loss treatment for man. Massaging the scalp stimulates hair follicles and unclogs blocked oil glands in the scalp. It also encourages growth of healthier hair and scalp.

Tissue expansion is another type of hair loss treatment for man. In this procedure, tiny balloons are placed under the scalp between those areas with thick hair. Over a number of months, these balloons are gradually inflated.

Another hair loss treatment for man is to have proper diet as this is extremely important in hair loss prevention. What you are feeding your body will influence the different areas of system function. If you have an unhealthy diet, you have higher chances of developing hair loss. To prevent such thing from happening, be sure that you eat whole, natural foods as these will guarantee permanent good health. Make sure that your diet consists of whole grains, fresh fruits and lean meats. Protect your system by avoiding or cutting down on excessive caffeine, alcohol, tobacco products and highly processed foods.

Vitamins are another option for hair loss treatment for man. Taking vitamins that help prevent hair from thinning is another option for men who are suffering from baldness. These types of vitamins are valuable in aiding thinning hair and in the promotion of quick growth of healthy hair. These vitamins are typically a combination of amino acids, biotin, zinc, magnesium and vitamins B6.

Many who resort to this type of hair loss treatment for man report that these specific vitamins have produced positive results and that they already have thicker, shiny and healthier hair. If you want, you can take vitamins that are solely for balding and hair loss.

Most of the hair loss treatments available on the market these days are most successfully applied by those who haven?t waited too long to do the right thing for their condition.

Many of those who have experienced balding at some point in their lives have said that the longer you wait to stop hair loss, the harder you can prevent it from occurring, and the harder it is to treat.

Hair loss in men is often identified with the appearance of a receding hairline, also known as slow balding at the crown of the head.

This condition is observed to be a progressive that if it is left ignored and untreated, the hair loss will continue and you will just notice in the end that much of your hair has been lost.

Hair loss in men is caused by a number of factors. For some who do not completely get bald, the root of hair loss is highly associated to hereditary and hormonal imbalances.

To evaluate your own hair loss situation it is much advisable to talk to an expert whom you think can greatly help you. You can consult a dermatologist or a hair surgeon to help you determine the kind of hair loss situation you are suffering from.

There are a lot of possible ways to fight or prevent hair loss from happening.

Here Are The Top 4 Effective Types of Hair Loss Treatments

1. The growth stimulators, generally, are used in preventing hair loss for the fact that they are capable of working on a symptomatic level to stimulate growth of hair, although artificially. These agents are capable of performing such acts without actually dealing with hair loss at the root of the problem. Note that it is because of this function that growth stimulators are deemed ineffective. But the truth of the matter is, these agents are actually a very successful and powerful way of reversing the balding process, although cosmetically.

2. Anti-androgens are but another powerful fighter of hair loss in men. The use of this treatment stems from the belief that anti-androgens work to stop the DHT from binding to the androgen receptor. The androgens, according to studies, come in about ? of the way down to the actual process leading to hair loss, and as they come to the rescue, they tend to show off one of the last interactions before certain damages to the hair follicles occur, then restoring the then weakened follicles.

3. The dihydrotestosterone or DHT inhibitors, as the name implies, functions to inhibit the fastening of 5-Alpha Reductase and Testosterone. This combination is what actually keeps the DHT levels to stay close to normal. Once maintained normal, the DHT inhibitors work to help keep the hair growth as well as loss regulation as its normal state. With this condition and function, it?s no wonder that DHT inhibitors are used by bald men to deal and treat the root of their hair loss dilemma.

4. Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD) treatments are marketing throughout the world these days to prevent excessive hair loss in men. Claims have it that these treatments work by way of gripping and controlling the immune response the in body which may occur as a result of the excessive DHT in the hair follicle. The Super Oxide, which is released once a foreign body is sensed by the cells, is then considered as an alien body that is potent enough to help the body fight and defend against the invading cells, foreign tissues and viruses. However, this Super Oxide is reduced by SODs, which may in turn help lessen the body?s desire to turn down the hair follicle. It is with this function actually that the SODs are considered as effective enough to fight hair loss in men. It is important to know though that SOD treatments are a kind of a hybrid treatment for the reason that they carry within them a number of anti-inflammatory and growth stimulation properties.

So if you are currently suffering from hair loss and you are considering treatment, it?s definitely best for you to consult with your doctor first before you undergo any type of treatment for your hair loss. Also, make sure that you understand the cause of your hair loss condition as this will help you to determine the best options available for you.

They say that form follows function, and that's never more true than when it comes to chairs design. Over the year, the simple block on which to seat yourself has taken on design changes and elements to suit any specific chair for particular purposes. There are chairs for lounging, chairs for working, chairs for dining, chairs for feeding baby in and chairs for just about any purpose you can imagine. Take a look at the particular design specifics that go into suiting a chair for a particular task.

Kitchen and dining room chairs are the most common chairs made and most households have at least four of them. Generally, they have four legs, a seat and a back. The seat is most often 16 inches above the ground - the median height for comfort. The back is set at nearly right angles to the seat to encourage an upright posture - most comfortable for eating.

Easy chairs are designed for comfortable sitting for extended periods of time. Most often, the seat is designed to slant backward slightly and take some of the weight off the posterior, distributing it to the lower back. Easy chairs are often upholstered, but one common easy chair design, the Adirondack chair, is plain wood designed to encourage comfortable lounging without cushioning.

Task chairs are designed to encourage the worker to sit in a particular posture that is best for the task to be accomplished. Most modern task chairs are ergonomically designed to allow long periods of being seated without placing undue strain on the lower back, upper back or legs. Often, task chairs have a lumbar support to make sitting more comfortable.

Lounge chairs are designed for - what else? Lounging, of course. The backs may be designed to recline, and they often have an extended seat to allow the legs to be lifted and supported comfortably. The chaise lounge is a typical lounge chair.

Stacking and folding chairs were designed to make storage of extra seating easy. They are often designed to fit easily into each other when stacked to make it easy to store and stack a number of chairs one on top of the other. The most common of these are the ubiquitous plastic and metal bucket chairs with u-shaped legs that fit over each other to allow easy stacking.

Office chairs, particularly executive chairs, are a cross between easy chairs and task chairs. Most are ergonomically designed to make being seated for long periods of time comfortable. They are often padded, and covered with a material that reduces heat and friction. Body contour is taken into account, and the seat is often adjustable in both height and angle to allow the chair to be individually tailored for comfort by each user.

Every once in a while, a new wave of novelty chairs catches the public fancy. Many of these end up outliving their trendiness to become standards in the chairs industry. Among those that have been popular in the last 30 years are beanbag chairs, inflatable chairs, papasan chairs and directors chairs.

So, you have a receding hairline and you are worried about it like hell? Well, let's start with a small tip- massage your scalp. There is nothing new about this age old tip. Medical science has proved that what your barber did to your head after he was through with scissoring you hair mercilessly is clearly beneficial for the growth and health of your hair. Massaging stimulates the hair follicles and unclogs blocked oil glands giving you a healthier scalp. And a healthy scalp means healthier and stronger hair.

Now that we are over with the time, it?s time that we talked about the commonest kind of baldness. This is the kind that indicates advancing age. Most of the time this kind of baldness, in both males and females, has genetic reasons, but may also be caused due to hormonal imbalance. In such cases, correcting hormonal imbalance can put a stop to hair loss.

Correcting hormonal imbalance helps prevent hair loss, during pregnancy. Shortly after child birth many women start losing hair rapidly, and then the fluctuation of hormone levels is naturally controlled and the hair growth comes back to normal. The medical inference drawn is that hormonal imbalances can cause hair loss and this kind of hair loss can be corrected by correcting the imbalance.

You may, therefore, go to a dermatologist and take his opinion on whether or not your hair loss is a result of hormonal imbalance. If, after the tests, he finds so, you may go for a treatment to cure hormonal imbalance. And if your hair loss has got nothing to do with your hormones, look for some effective hair loss product.

Forget not, all hair loss treatments would take around six months to produce any visible effects. The tall claims of checking hair loss instantly are not exactly what you should go by. Have a careful look at the ingredients of the product. Find out how it seeks to arrest hair loss and then go for it. It is advisable that you approach a dermatologist for his opinion before trying any of the products. Better still, take his opinion on the product(s) you want to try. Once you get an approval from the doctor, you can safely use it.

Herbal remedies are useful and effective ways to help people suffering from hair loss. Since herbal remedies are natural, they are generally considered safe and free from side effects, although there may be isolated cases once in a while. Each herbal remedy for hair loss are believed to provide hope for people experiencing hair loss. Below is a list of herbal remedies for hair loss that have been proven to be effective.

Ginkgo Biloba

Ginkgo Biloba is a potent herbal remedy for hair loss with medicinal properties that showed efficacy in improving blood circulation to the scalp and head and to other parts of the body. It is believed that the increase of blood to the brain and skin provides more nutrients to the hair follicles, causing hair to grow back.

Saw Palmetto (Seranoa Repens)

Saw palmetto is also an herbal remedy for hair loss that is currently the treatment of choice of several men because of its capability to slow down hair loss and stimulate new hair growth. Tinctures and extracts from this herb block the receptors on cell membranes for dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the main cause of hair loss in many patients. Also, this herbal remedy for hair loss prevents the formation of DHT the way that FDA-approved hair loss treatment medication finasteride does. This ability makes saw palmetto an effective treatment for hair loss.

Stinging Nettle (Urtica Diocia)

Stinging nettle is an herbal remedy for hair loss that has long been preferred as a means of curbing balding. This herb slows down loss of hair by preventing testosterone from being converted into DHT, allowing stimulation of hair growth. Stinging nettle is more effective when used together with pygeum and saw palmetto.

Pygeum (Pygeum Africanum)

Pygeum is an herbal remedy for hair loss that has the capability to inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme that regulates the production of DHT. Pygeum also prevents loss of hair by slowing down the conversion of testosterone to DTH, thereby preventing hair follicles from weakening.

Green Tea (Camellia Sinesis)

Camellia Sinesis is another herbal remedy for hair loss considered an effective cure for male pattern baldness. Green tea contains components called catechins that help in preventing hair loss. These catechins prevent the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase from converting male hormone testosterone to DHT.

He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum)

He Shou Wu is a Chinese herbal remedy for hair loss. It has been traditionally used as a remedy for hair loss. It has also been used in many commercial preparations that reduce loss of hair. In its processed form, He Shou Wu delivers nourishment to the liver. Blood in the liver nourishes the head and the hair, thus, promoting growth of hair and preventing hair from becoming gray.

Gotu kola

Gotu kola is a herbal remedy for hair loss that works by stimulating and increasing blood circulation throughout the brain and the scalp, which then revitalizes the hair follicles. When hair follicles have sufficient blood flow, they are protected from the harmful activity caused by DHT. Gotu kola extract also purifies the blood and improves the growth and the health of hair. Several herbal products that use gotu kola as a base promote hair growth and fortify collagen and the blood vessels.

Has a new puppy recently become a member of your family? Puppies are born with instincts, but not with the knowledge of how to behave. Therefore, it is necessary to teach your new puppy appropriate behaviors and also some fun tricks. You can try to do this yourself or you can enlist the help of a dog school.

There are many different types of dog schools available. What dog school would be the best for your dog? Things to consider when searching for a dog school include: the age of your dog, the breed, the personality, and what it is that you want your dog to learn.

Let?s focus first on what you want your dog to learn. Do wish to have your dog learn basic obedience commands such as “sit” and “stay”? Do you want to learn practice drills you can do with your dog at home such as keeping them from begging for food at the dinner table? Then local dog schools will best meet your needs.

Local dog schools can be found at community colleges, city recreation centers, through pet stores, and even through private dog schools. You can opt to take a group class with up to twenty other dogs. These types of dog schools are often less expensive and meet in a local park. They meet once or twice week for a few weeks. You can have fun teaching your dog new commands as well as let them socialize with fellow dogs.

Local dog schools can offer more advanced dog training classes as well. Perhaps your dog has mastered the basic commands and you want to teach them how to hold a piece of food on their nose for a specified amount of time and then flip it into their mouth. You can find dog schools that have fun, exciting advanced classes where you and your dog can bond.

You may consider having your dog compete in dog shows. Maybe you purchased your dog from an established breeder that has determined your dog has champion DNA in their pedigree. If so then you should look into more in depth dog schools that are focused specifically and dog handling/showing. You can find these through breeders and the American Kennel Club. You can search for dog training materials and resources on the American Kennel Club website at: http://akc.org/

On a different note, maybe you want your dog to become a service dog or guide dog for the blind. Dogs that perform these jobs have to go to specific guide dog training schools. These special dog schools are necessary because there are very detailed requirements and commands that a guide dog must learn. These types of dog schools will also provide the support, knowledge, and training necessary to make your dog a successful guide dog.

There are many guide and service dog schools around the world to train your dog. You can find these schools through your breeder, groomer, and veterinarian. You can also find information about these dog schools through the Internet. A comprehensive listing is available by Wolf Packs - List of Service Dog Schools and Information. You can find this on their website at: http://wolfpacks.com/serviced.htm/

Once you have determined what you want your dog to learn then you can narrow down your search of dog schools by taking into account your dog?s age, personality, and breed. Do you have a young puppy that is large like a Great Dane? Or do you have tiny new Bichon Frise that weighs in at only 4 pounds? Find out the type of dogs that are allowed into the dog training class.

Will the dog training class be filled with many large dogs that might scare your little Bichon Frise? Or are there dog classes available that are separated by age and weight? It is a good idea to be aware of this information before you sign your dog up for classes. You want to provide them the best experience possible and not have them cower when it is time to head to dog class each week.

Another consideration when choosing between dog schools is the amount of one-on-one attention. Is your dog very active and can?t sit still during group training sessions? Many dog schools offer private classes. Sometimes the dog trainer will even come to your home to give you and your pooch lessons.

Picking among dog schools is also reliant upon the price and schedule flexibility of the classes. Run a price and schedule comparison on dog schools in your area. This will help you to discover a dog school that fits your schedule, your dog?s personality, and meets your budget.

Choosing between dog schools is an important decision that will set your dog on the path to obedience success. Take your time and choose wisely so that both you and your canine buddy have a memorable, enjoyable dog training experience.

Extreme stress and hair loss can be related in view of documented examples where individuals experienced sudden graying of the hair or extensive and sudden hair loss following a major shock.

Fortunately such occurrences appear to be rare. However, it does raise an interesting question regarding the relationship between stress and hair loss. If sudden, extreme stress can have such a profound reaction, could it be that stress, endured over a fairly long period of time due to some situation or circumstance in life, or cumulative stress from many situations occurring simultaneously, could contribute to hair loss?

While the extent to which stress and hair loss are connected may be a source of debate among medical practitioners, there is a consensus of opinion that reducing stress levels or learning how to cope with stress can have a positive affect on the body and in turn upon the condition of the scalp and hair growth.

If you are suffering from hair loss, how can you determine the role stress is playing?

The Stress Inventory

Back in 1967, psychologists Holmes and Rahe created a scale to measure stressful life events that may have a bearing on illness based on the medical records of 5,000 medical patients.

“Death of a spouse” was counted as the most stressful with a score of 100 and “Divorce” ranked second with a score of 73. At the bottom of the scale came “Major holidays” with a score of “12″ and “Minor Law Violation” with a score of 11.

After browsing the list and adding up the situations you are affected by you come to a total score. Anything over 300 puts you in the 80% risk category of having an illness due to stress. A score between 150-300 may indicate a 50% chance of a stress related health breakdown while scores of 150 and less indicate low probability.

You can download a free PDF file containing this 43 point stress inventory here:http://www.medlisting.com/stress-inventory.html

Precautions When Using A Stress Inventory

If you are trying to measure the relation between stress and hair loss by using a stress inventory be aware of the limitations of such an inventory. For example, everyone reacts differently to various situations which may in themselves vary as to severity.

A divorce for example which comes after months of wrangling and acrimonious disputes is obviously going to be much more stressful than a divorce between two individuals who more or less come to an amicable arrangement.

Added to that, various personality types handle situations in a different manner. For individuals with a personality type A, the body may be used to handling stressful situations quite differently from someone with a type B personality.

So use common sense when using a Stress Inventory and be prepared to adjust some of the estimate levels depending on your own individual characteristics.

When it comes to assessing therefore whether stress and hair loss are related in your case, you need to be objective and honest with yourself as you measure your own reactions to stressful situations. Have you been dealing with a stressful situation for a prolonged period of time? Do you feel in yourself that you are under stress?

Measuring Daily Stress

Here are some easy methods for determining your stress level during your daily routine:

Muscles

Breathing

Perspiration

Hand Temperature

Pulse

Muscles

Consciously focus on various parts of your body working your way down from the head, to the facial areas, to the neck, etc. Be aware of muscle tension.

Breathing

Is your breathing shallow and rapid? This may indicate your body is responding to stress. A relaxed body tends to breathe more slowly and deeply.

Perspiration

In some persons, hormones related to stress cause the body to sweat. If you suffer with perspiration at certain times analyze those times. Is it due to a situation you find challenging?

Hand Temperature

Simply placing your hand on the side of your neck can give an indication as to whether your body is responding to stress if your neck is noticeably higher in temperature than your hand.

Pulse

If you have a rapid pulse, higher than 75 beats per minute, it is likely your body is responding to stress.

If you find you are susceptible to a number of these 5 indicators frequently during your regular working day, then it could be you are battling with stress.

Stress: The Enemy Of Hair

Jonathon E. Phillips, a leading international hair loss analyst, refers to stress as the enemy of hair in his groundbreaking ebook “Hair Loss No More.” (See resource box below for details)

In his mind there is no doubt that stress and hair loss are very much related. He has developed an approach to hair loss that involves treating the whole body. In his Step-By-Step Hair Power Regimen he sets out a program for dealing with stress that involves proper breathing and exercise that can have a very powerful, positive effect on the scalp and hair growth.

In the Appendix he sets out further strategies for dealing with stress and hair loss.

So if you suspect stress and hair loss are connected in your case or in the life of a loved one, why not dig a little deeper and do some research.

Perhaps use a Stress Inventory such as the one suggested above along with common sense, and use the 5 easy indicators to measure stress levels on a daily basis, and determine whether your body is coping with stress levels that could cause a health breakdown with subsequent consequences for your hair.

Then seek out the help you need to reduce the stress in your life and break the connection between stress and hair loss!

As hair loss information is in such demand I was intrigued by the write up regarding an ebook by leading hair loss analyst Jonathon E. Phillips entitled “Hair Loss No More.”

Having gone through the 168 pages of in-depth material I can certainly recommend this inexpensive hair loss manual that takes a very different approach when it comes to hair loss information. (See resource box)

If you have researched hair loss information on the internet you no doubt have come across many products which claim to be the answer for hair loss. These may include various lotions and solutions or prescription drugs.

Hair Loss Treatment From The Inside

However, as Jonathon Phillips explains, the problem of hair loss often goes much deeper. While heredity can be a major contributing factor along with the aging process, a careful look at one's lifestyle can be very profitable when considering the problem of hair loss.

In Part 1 of his book Jonathon Phillips explains what healthy hair follicles need to work properly and produce new hair. After explaining the various hair growth cycles the book presents convincing hair loss information showing the connection between hair loss and diet, exercise, and blood circulation. Smoking also comes under the spotlight.

The Hair Power System

Putting all this information together, Part 2 spells out a regimen that involves proper nutrition and exercise. The role of oxygen in the blood is also emphasized. Mr. Phillips has devised what he calls a revolutionary system called The Step-By-Step Hair Power Regimen.

The main thing to note is that this analyst has nothing to sell. He is setting out a program that may involve some lifestyle changes but that basically you can do for free if you have the motivation and determination to see the program through. This is certainly hair loss information with a difference. No hype, no product to sell.

Beware Of Hype

In part 3 Jonathon Phillips blows the lid off many misconceptions when it comes to popular hair information and remedies. His background information, carefully researched, regarding the launch of Rogaine in 1988 and its amazing popularity make fascinating reading.

If you have ever looked for unbiased hair loss information on transplant methods you will appreciate the in-depth study afforded that subject in this book.

Mr. Phillips' comments regarding hair shampoo are also very helpful and make a lot of sense. Some shampoos even damage hair rather than help it and his guidelines are helpful in making the right choice.

The Appendix section covers various subjects which help keep the body stress free and relaxed and provide a fitting conclusion to a book that concentrates on treating the whole person.

I found after reading this book I am much more objective when researching hair loss information on the internet. Especially when clinical study results are published it is good to read between the lines and understand what the results really tell you.

If a product boasts a success rate of over 55% with those who used it in clinical trials that means 45% didn't see any difference! As most of the products do not come with a money back guarantee, and especially as they involve long term use over many months before you can expect to see results, it pays to be cautious before embarking on a course of treatment.

So if you would like truthful hair loss information without the hype, consider getting a copy of Jonathon Phillips' “Hair Loss No More.” Besides providing you with an education on hair loss, it may just be the answer to your hair loss problem.

Mike Jones is a writer and webmaster with over 10 years experience. His recommendation ? a natural, herbal hair loss solution as opposed to a hair loss drug:
